We opened our second Bakery + Coffee in Seattle’s vibrant Capitol Hill neighborhood in December 2018.
Store hours
For generations, bakers used to keep a pot of live culture made of a flour and water mixture, and 'fed' it daily or weekly to keep it alive and active. Today, this is known as a sourdough starter. Making your own sourdough starter is very easy. It takes 5 days to make a fully active sourdough 'starter' and you can use all kinds of flour to make it. Once the starter is bubbling, it can be built up and used the next day to make bread.

We are a small bakery, coffee house, and bistro on the outskirts of New York in the USA. In the spring of 2018, we opened a space that brought people together.
After two years, we travel around the World. We find some very friendly peoples, who share with us a passion for baking. They join us in our project, so today, you can find our loaves of bread, baguettes, and other products in other cities.
For four years now we have worked to provide the best bread and food we can produce. More products coming soon. Stay tuned.

Basic sourdough bread
This classic, simple wholemeal loaf is a good one to start with. Bear in mind that different brands of whole meal flour will require different amounts of water when making this loaf.
